Specimen, a sparkling scenic troupe of young adults

SPECIMEN is not just a choir, but a scenical troupe with a restricted number (14) of becoming showmen aged between 18 and 26. Accompanied by our young but very talented pianist, we mostly sing French songs (old or late) harmonized for four voices. We sometimes add English songs to our repertoire yet: we love musicals, Rent and Grease for example.
Then you won't be surprised to know that Specimen works with a stage director to enhance the show : emotion or wittiness, we try our best to entertain the audience and to enjoy ourselves. Let's not forget : our two conductors (how lucky we are!) have something to do with that!
Specimen rehearses once or twice a month during a whole day working on the singing. We also run two staging and singing residential weeks. Once our show is ready, we run it several times before setting up a new one. Performing mainly in northern France, we take part in festivals around the country from time to time : maybe an opportunity to go and watch us ?
